1902 – The Noble Goose

$7.00$28.00

“The Noble Goose” is taken from a full page image that featured in a 1902 Edition of “The Animal World,” a Monthly Advocate of Humanity. The actual caption for this piece was: ‘A noble bird that is often cruelly abused’, drawing attention to the fact that many such birds are the victims of animal cruelty. The Goose is a proud, gentle and noble bird and these qualities have all been ably captured in this wonderful rendition by Harrison Weir. As the framed image was cropped to fit our gallery, we have included a detail showing the full length of the original image which appears on the print. Currently available in A4, A3 and A2 sizing options.
