1877 – Nest in a Letterbox


A wonderful study of two birds feeding their young, whose nest they have built inside a letterbox. Illustrated by a highly observant naturalist and artist, who had honed his skills since childhood, it is studies like these that gave Harrison Weir, fame as an illustrator, and especially of birds. Published in “The Children’s Friend” in 1877. Currently available in A4, A3 and A2 size options.
