$7.00 – $28.00
This small but accurate image entitled “The Old Style” comes from an article in “The Animal World” (A Monthly Advocate of Humanity) published by the R.S.P.C.A in 1876. It depicts the old style of driving horses, with bearing reins and blinkers, and illustrates the dis-advantages of the old practice as opposed to the new, opposite an illustration of “The New Style”. The images are in fact taken from “Stories About Horses” illustrated by Harrison Weir, and edited by Thomas Bywater Smithies of The British Workman. The article in “The Animal World” is simply an in-depth book review of that new publication. The clarity in this image allows us to offer it in A4, A3 and A2 sizing options.
