“You can’t do that, said Crib” is a full page book plate image, taken from “Crib and Fly, A tale of Two Terriers”, published by Griffith and Farran, circa 1876. The book tells of the life and adventures of “Crib” a little terrier. It contains only four drawings, all from the pencil of Harrison Weir. No author is listed, but the dedication is by Aunt Emma, to her Nieces and Nephews. As usual, Harrison’s interpretative skills, provide illustrations that are a perfect match for the story as it unfolds.
Prints currently available in A4, and A3 sizing options.
