1874 – Prize Winners: Donkey Show at The Crystal Palace

A wonderful full page image taken from “The Graphic”, published on May 16th 1874, showing some of the Prize Winners from the Donkey Show at The Crystal Palace. Lady Dorothy Nevill, who was a good friend of Harrison Weir, would often show her donkeys and it seems likely that they would have spent some time together at this show, with her as an exhibitor and he as a reporting artist for “The Graphic”.  Currently available in A4, A3 and A2 sizing options.
