1871 – Blind Man’s Buff

Another charming anthropomorphic colour study entitled “Blind Man’s Buff”, taken from the story of “The Cats Tea Party”, just one of the stories included in “The Poll-Parrot Picture Book” published in 1871 by George Routledge & Sons. It carries a rare logo designed by Harrison Weir, that appears only on a small number of colour book plate images such as this, plus one or two rare black and white engravings. Currently available in A4, A3 and a bold colourful statement in A2.
