$7.00 – $28.00
“Pretty Puss”, a drawing by Harrison Weir, that has appeared in several publications, this one being from the 1863 edition of “Our Dumb Companions”, published by S W Partridge & Co. The window sill upon which Puss is sitting is similar to those in other drawings of cats and robins, and could be from a sill at Harrison’s country home “Weirleigh” in Brenchley, Kent. Harrison had many pet cats over the years, many of whom feature in anecdotes about family or animal life in his books. This detailed study is currently available in both A4, A3 and A2 size options.
