1863 – The Feathered Builders and their homes

$7.00$28.00

A truly stunningly detailed full page study of birds building a nest. This image by Harrison Weir was published in “The British Workman” of June 1863. As it has so much detail, we have provided you with four “detail” snapshots of various sections of the image, two of the nest builders at work, and two of the illustrations of nest types from two corners of the image, the last one showing the artists signature in plate. There is little doubt that Harrison Weir had a particular empathy with small nest builders, which he manages to capture in his artwork. Currently this image is available in A4, A3 and A2 options and we are working towards being able to offer a giant A1 option in the not too distant future.
